Her daughter, Summer Hodge, who is a friend of mine has set up a Facebook page in her honor and still remains hopeful that one day she will know what exactly happened to her mother as well as see justice brought to those who perpetrated the crimes against her.

Elder abuse is one of the lowest forms of crime in my eyes. Taking advantage of seniors is unforgivable and inexcusable. It is because of this that I am sharing Summer & Barbara’s story. No one should ever have to live this kind of nightmare.
