Abundance | Vs. | Lack – A Warning

Abundance warning: Things are insane right now in our economy. Prices on things are as high as I can ever recall. The news and media do everything they can to keep you in fear.

Here is the thing. Universally, there is no such thing as lack. There is enough of everything for everyone. Your feelings and beliefs create your own personal reality (Though we do all share one co-created reality viewed from varying perspectives).

How do you feel? Really check in with yourself.

Do you feel poor, broke, scared, or unable to be unappreciative of what you do have? That will bring about more lack.

Do you feel rich? Abundant, happy, easily able to appreciate what you do have going for you? That brings in and attracts more of the same.

The beauty is that you get to pick. No one else. Not the government, not your boss, not your partner. You and you alone.

Friends have laughed at me over the years. I will find change, even a penny.. pick it up, and loudly declare “I’m rich!” Laugh all ya want. Money comes to me when I need it and it always has.

Whether you know it or not you ARE divinely supported and loved by the Universe/God – whatever you choose to call your higher power.

Happy Friday! Repeat after me: “I AM RICH!” and smile. Blessings are coming your way. The only people this doesn’t work for are those who don’t believe that it will. (Please, just be a little patient… the Universe isn’t on your time, and this isn’t room service).

Waste not – Want not” – This is the best way to live right now

While our parents and grandparents may have tried to instill this value into all of us growing up we were raised in a very prosperous time, especially here in the United States.

This is a highly consumeristic and materialistic society. We have become complacent and wasteful in our spending and our habits. We know we have whatever we need right at our fingertips. This is more literal than ever before with the onset of online shopping and same-day delivery.

In 2022 you could live your entire life and never leave the house if you so choose to! Food, clothing, medical needs, virtual doctor visits, as long as you worked from home – you could potentially never go out again. That is a really dangerous way to live. It would be easy to become antisocial and dependent on others to bring you everything you need to survive and live.

Prices are rising – from gas to food, to other random goods. The words “out of stock” are becoming more common.

What if suddenly you couldn’t get what you needed or wanted?
It is a distinct possibility looming here in the near future.

This is the time to be proactive. We all need to buckle down and save money as well as stock up on necessities.

What’s not being mentioned is the old adage of “waste not – want not.” This means appreciating what you already have. Use items to their full life potential. If you buy something, use it – even if it ends up not being the best version or your favorite. Use it. Get your money’s worth out of it until it’s gone, only then buy its replacement.

The more we go back to this way of viewing things – appreciating that we have them in the first place the less need there is for more or newer “stuff”. If a piece of clothing rips? Mend it. Don’t know how? Learn. If something breaks – can it be fixed? And most importantly – ask yourself “Do I really need it?” much of what we buy it’s a desire, not a need. Learn the difference.

This mentality will not only save you money it will actually bring you more prosperity!

When you are satisfied with what you have you are in gratitude. Gratitude brings in more prosperity. It also equates to greater happiness and satisfaction with life.

Go forth and waste not – want not. 😉

Have you fallen out of Gratitude Mode?

I found myself today feeling down in the dumps. Looking at my bills and my overall financial picture and started in on the “if onlys”. The fact is that you can’t change past happenings or decisions. You can only go from here.

I feel bad because I don’t feel like I am where I “should be”. The question is, according to what or who? I know darn well that there are no accidents in life. You are always exactly where you are meant to be at any given moment.

As kids, from that perspective, we all believed that adults had it together. The truth is, almost no one really has it all together. I am even suspicious that there really is such a thing as an adult at all. What I see is everyone muddling through life, making the best decisions that they can and hoping for the best possible outcome.

With all of that said, this blah attitude I found myself in today made me realize my problem. It’s not that anything is wrong. It’s the perspective has shifted. Somehow, I have fallen out of Gratitude Mode. Rather than looking around and appreciating everything that I have in my world, I have gotten focused on the little bit of lack that is there.

This is a very dangerous slope to be on. Like attracts like and if you are focused on lack, more will be coming.

So, if you also see yourself in what you just read… take my advice I am giving myself and snap the hell out of it.

Love,
Sarah
