Natural Trauma Care

What if the unthinkable happens? You have an accident, but you are nowhere near a hospital. What do you do?

Is there such a thing as “natural trauma care”? The answer is a resounding YES.

1. Small nicks, cuts or scratches: You can dab on cornstarch. It will stop the bleeding almost immediately. Additionally, oddly enough, spider webs work very well if you can find some. Grab a good sized spider web, blow off the spider and any other bugs or debris and wrap it around or place over the injured area. Once the bleeding stops, remove the web and clean the cut thoroughly.

2. A bloody nose: If you are experiencing a bloody nose open a bottle of vinegar and inhale deeply through your nose. Keep doing so and the bleeding should stop within a short time. Vinegar burns the blood vessels cauterizing them closed.

3. For a bleeding wound: Apply a little sugar and let it melt over the wound. This will stop the blood from continuing to flow.

4. If you suspect a blood clot: You can take the herb Dong Quai to help break up the clot but do try and seek out medical attention as soon as possible as blood clots can be incredibly dangerous depending on location.

5. Ice: Reducing the temperature drastically slows bleeding as well as helps prevent future inflammation and bruising at the site of injury.

6. Small wounds:  Cayenne pepper sprinkled into the wound will help to stop the bleeding as well black pepper.

7. Splinters: To remove small splinters from the skin easily, wet a bar of soap and rub the sharp end of a sewing needle in it, so that the needle has a liberal coating of soap. Then rub the soapy needle in the opposite direction of the splinter. As soon as the splinter has some soap in it, squeeze it, and it should come right out. This method is painless and is good for use on children. For removing splinters of glass from the skin pour some hydrogen peroxide on the skin. The splinter will bubble itself out after a few minutes. Do not squeeze as more tissue damage may occur.

8. Burns: The best thing for a burn is to apply cool water liberally. Do ensure that the water is not too hot or too cold. Blisters will be formed, but that is a part of the natural healing process. If you want to avoid blisters you could try one of these home remedies. Cut a tomato into wedges and rub one slice on the burn. The acid from the tomato takes the pain away and the burn will not blister. You can also use cold water and vinegar compresses until the pain goes away and then apply potato slices on the area.

9. After any injury for overall healing – Arnica Montana 1M (trauma care blend) Specifically designed to speed recovery from a major physical trauma, TraumaCare™ is generally considered too strong for a minor bump or bruise.

Google and Google Chrome BLOCK Naturalnews.com

Are Google chrome users are now being censored from seeing natural health information? If you view the same page www.naturalnews.com in Google Chrome vs. Safari or Firefox or any other browser you get two different views. Chrome is blocking every page link on the main article site virtually blocking their users from being able to receive natural health information.

I am getting conflicting reports – some people can see the page and others just get the blank…? What do you see?

We have to consider: Is this the future internet you want? Big monopoly corporations deciding FOR YOU what you can and cannot read and learn?

An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!

Everyone has heard the old adage “An apple a day keeps the doctor away!” Apples are an amazing fruit and incredibly good for you. Sometimes overlooked with the recent popularity and media coverage of the newly deemed “Super Fruits” such as Acai, Black Currents, Blueberries and Pomegranates, which are known for the high antioxidant levels contained, Apples boast the ability to help with numerous aliments as well as maintain overall health.

Where did this saying come from? The first printed quote was in 1866 in the February issue of “Notes and Queries”. It was stated as “Eat an apple on going to bed, and you’ll keep the doctor from earning his bread.” It was later translated to the more modern “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Any saying that sticks around for nearly 150 years must have some truth to it. Right?

What is in apples that make them so good for us? First of all apples contain Pectin, which is a form of soluble fiber helpful in maintaining proper digestion and cholesterol levels. Apples also contain Boron, which supports brain and bone health. Add to that Quercetin which helps to reduce free radical damage and shows possibility in offering protection against cancer. And everyone’s favorite, Vitamin C which boosts immunity and over all health!

Now add to that that apples also help to clean your teeth and kill bacteria in your mouth, reducing the risk of tooth decay.

Apple cider vinegar, made from pressed fermented apples, also has tremendous health benefits. Taking apple cider vinegar daily promotes weight loss and control, as it helps your body to work more efficiently and burn off excess calories, which can taper your waistline over time. It also helps to improve blood flow and supports the circulatory system while promoting free and easy movement of the joints. The benefits don’t stop there. Apple cider vinegar also promotes a healthy stomach and digestive tract as well as keeping blood sugar in check! Plus, its great for your complexion.

When taken on a daily basis either as liquid mixed with water or in capsule form, this old time remedy is touted to assist in healing sinus infections, allergies, acne, high cholesterol, flu, chronic fatigue, Candida, acid reflux, sore throat, contact dermatitis, arthritis and even gout.

Even further this is also wonderful for your pets health. Including dogs, cats and even horses. It can control fleas, ticks, and barn flies while giving their coats a luxurious shine.

As if that weren’t enough to make you run out and buy a bottle, it is also fantastic for household cleaning, deodorizing and disinfecting! It works miracles on glass and is streak free!

Plus? They are just delicious, so next time you reach for a snack, grab an apple!

Urgent Health Warning!

Warning! Do not eat, drink, breathe or touch anything.
(that’s a viable solution, right?) We have now identified that the majority of non-organic foods as well as household substances on the planet contain or have been exposed to ingredients that are toxic to your health. The manufacturers know it, and just simply don’t care.

So…

Now what are you supposed to do?
In all honesty? It beats the **** out of me.
I have been blogging now for several years on alternative healing, health, additives, toxins, and our crazy genetically modified food supply. It seems the news and the world in general just gets crazier on a daily basis. It has reached a point now where even as educated and informed as I am I have no idea how to really avoid ALL of the dangers and pit falls, in fact I am really not even sure in modern day life if it is currently possible.

I am reaching a point of frustration and I know I am not alone in this. Companies lie, Main Stream media can’t be trusted as they have become more about paid propaganda than reporting facts and truth, Scientists can be paid off to make results of a study conform to the highest bidder, Medical Doctors value kickbacks over patients, it seems like in 2015 everything and everyone is for sale. Truth no longer matters, only profit.

Is there any hope?

Amidst the shysters, the greed, big corporations, politicians working against us all for their own personal gain – thankfully there are a few bright spots.

One entity working towards a clean toxic free healthy world is The Pure Integrity Verified Seal. This seal was the brainchild of Lynnette Marie, The Organic Guru of Fuelforthebody.com.

Dedicating timeless efforts to assure you and your children of a safe and toxic free future.

I fully agree with and back that goal, as I would love nothing more than to live in a world where food was safe to eat, air was healthy to breathe and household products were not poisonous.

The Health Benefits of Edible Flowers

There have been many times where I have gone out to lunch or dinner in a fine dining restaurant and the salads have come with beautiful flowers either as garnishes or actually infused into the salad itself.

It has always been a fun treat either way, though sometimes I have been the only one brave or eager enough to try them. The flavors range from sweet to tart to bitter, but they are always interesting.

Why limit these experiences to just dining out?
Flowers enhance any garden or home… and if they double as edibles, all the better.

So which flowers can you eat, and which ones taste good?

FDA Intimidation practices at work

How did we end up with a country that prohibits health information under the guise of safety?

Herbs, minerals, supplements and vitamins are all made by nature. They are God given and our birthright as humans to be able to utilize nature to heal us when needed. They are currently classified as public domain.

So far anyway,  you cannot take out and own a patent on plants, minerals or other elements found in nature. The FDA is all about patents and profit. Therefore, if something that actually works to heal the body falls outside of their grasp, they must quash it and anyone who tries to bring to light the fact that it works. The FDA has gone so far as to try and ban certain vitamins.

Their party line is very much that pharmaceuticals are the only cure, the only answer, and the only way. This simply isn’t reality. Vitamins, minerals, supplements, and herbs are natures medicine and unlike pharmaceuticals work without side effects.

In doing marketing for a Vitamin Company, due to the FDA’s government mandated and imposed rules and regulations; we are forced to mark every single bottle with the standard FDA disclaimer “This product has not been evaluated by the FDA. It is not intended to cure, prevent, diagnose or treat any disease.”
Somehow the FDA has named them selves the end all be all in declaring “what works”. Strangely the majority of America simply sit back and accepts their verdicts.

Example Letter from the FDA

CERTIFIED MAIL

RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED

WARNING LETTER

FLA-09-25

December 28, 2014

President Name

Company

Town, State, Zip

This is to advise you that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has reviewed your website and has determined that certain products are promoted for conditions that cause the products to be drugs under section 201(g)(1)(B) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the Act) [21 U.S.C. § 321(g)(1)(B)]. The therapeutic claims on your website establish that the products are drugs because they are intended for use in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease.

The marketing of the products with these claims violates the Act.

Examples of some of the claims observed on your website include:

  • GREEN TEA: helps lower cholesterol levels. Helpful for … stabilizing blood sugar and insulin levels, and protecting the body against cancer.
  • LYCOPENE: has also shown to aid with Cardiovascular Disease. This supplement has shown beneficial in lowering high levels of LDL degeneration within the tissue. By lowering the LDL (bad) cholesterol, it can help reduce one’s chances of heart attack.
  • MELATONIN: Research has shown that this supplement can aid those who suffer from insomnia by playing a role in inducing sleep
  • OMEGA3: Taking Omega 3 decreases the risk of heart disease. Omega 3 can also be used as an anti-inflammatory to relieve pain around the joints.
  • TURMERIC: This well known spice offers many benefits for Arthritis sufferers.
  • SELENIUM: Research has shown that Selenium can assist in the prevention of cataracts and macular degeneration.

All of the above statements are true and can be backed with scientific study. This does not matter according to the FDA.

The letter continues:

The claims quoted above are supplemented by the metatags used to bring consumers to your website through Internet searches. The metatags include: “anti-inflammatory,” “prostate cancer supplement,” “joint pain,” and “arthritis pain.”

Your products are not generally recognized as safe and effective for the above referenced uses and therefore, the products are “new drugs” under section 201(p) of the Act [21 U.S.C. § 321(p)]. New drugs may not be legally marketed in the U.S. without prior approval from FDA as described in section 505(a) of the Act [21 U.S.C. § 355(a)].

You should take prompt action to correct the violations described above and prevent their future recurrence. Failure to do so may result in enforcement action without further notice. The Act authorizes the seizure of illegal products and injunctions against manufacturers and distributors of those products [21 U.S.C. §§ 332 and 334].

Essentially if you attempt to inform, educate, and boost people’s health you will be found to be in violation and possibly subject to having your inventory seized.

Access to truthful natural health information is important. Not all of us are walking encyclopedias of herbal and vitamin knowledge.

By limiting the publics access to information on specific products by way of censoring what producers are allowed to say they are taking away your right to information.

Without information there is no further learning and without the ability to research for yourself your options become more limited – and so does your ability to stay healthy.

Is natural health becoming more and more about ego and money?

Is natural health becoming more and more about ego and money as time progresses?

As people fall away from believing solely in western allopathic medicine more and more seeing the destruction long-term pharmaceutical use can cause they are turning, rightly, to nature for relief and healing.

It’s hard to know who to listen to.

With western “approved” medicine and medical treatments there was always the illusionary safety net of being able to depend on FDA approval, medical boards, and reputable doctors who graduated from well-known universities. But so many of those avenues have been contaminated no longer having humanities best interest at heart. Much of it has turned in favor of big pay offs and kick backs that people are now searching for alternative healers, body workers, doctors, speakers and writers who share information in order to ease their ailments rather than following traditional routes.

I think most of us can agree that the majority of those who get into Natural Health, Healing, Body Work, and even those that go to medical school do so because they want to help others to live happy health lives. It does seem though that with all of the contradictory informational confusion, especially with the invent of the internet combined with the desperation of those living in pain who search for help, healing and direction, an off shoot of what the market is producing is a certain percentage of high profile self promoting self proclaimed self help gurus whose main goal is padding their bank accounts.

Though much of the information coming forth is sound, there seems to be a growing emphasis on showmanship, ego and personal career boost vs. really helping the people they proclaim to want to help.

Time and time again it is feeling like the same story as a re-run with a different cast of characters. Scams are prevalent either with products that do not work as promised or even when the products do work or are of good information there are those that prey on others who are willing to fund, support and jump on their well intentioned band-wagons only to lose out in the end.

This makes it increasingly more difficult for those who are well intentioned and do business honestly and to get people to believe in them and what they are promoting, which often times could very likely help improve their quality of life, yet they may pass on an opportunity and miss out as the trust level is being degraded.

Becoming informed, aware, and knowledgeable about health is no small feet especially as more and more information comes to light on a daily basis with previous conceptions and misconceptions changing as well.

We as human beings are intricate puzzles. I fully believe that all health issues can be solved and healed if we work with our bodies rather than fighting against them. Finding the core issues and allowing healing is vital as the mental, emotional and spiritual manifests in the physical. Getting to a level where you not only understand this on an educational level but on a root level of core belief takes time, study, personal clearing and often investment in ones self.

When choosing to devote your life or energy towards a mission of helping others along their path to health of course you do deserve payment for your time and effort. It is work. As much as many of us would love to simply volunteer our time, talents and knowledge I do understand that we have bills to pay and lives to maintain just like everyone else. I am not saying it’s wrong to make money in your chosen field. Money is nothing but an energy exchange. It keeps Universal balance flowing.

So how do you tell the difference between someone who is genuine in their desire to help humanity and someone who has gotten wrapped up in their own ego and is in it for the attention and the money?

I wish I could give you an easy answer. Having been duped myself a couple of times the best advice I have is to listen to your intuition and your feelings. If something feels off or wrong, don’t push that aside. Never listen to anyone above your own inner voice no matter how persuasive they may be.

Along with that if you have become involved in something or with someone that you later find isn’t all that it was cracked up to be, stand up for yourself as well as others if you see an injustice taking place.

Greed, Money, and Ego have completely contaminated Western Medicine in our society….. Lets not allow the same thing to happen in the field of Natural Health.

What I personally did to change by body, heal myself and change my life:

  1. I had started the Body for Life program for weight loss

http://bodyforlife.com/

There is of course more information and the “Challenge” you can enter on the site. *I do not recommend using their shakes. They have artificial sweeteners in them. I would use Intek Nutrition.(which is sweetened with Stevia.) http://www.inteknutrition.com/PRODUCTS/PROTEIN%20EVOLUTION/protein.html

And Nutracore nutrition’s Amino Active (to replace the Betagen/Phosagen from Body for life) http://nutracorenutrition.com/index.php/our-products-1/aminocore.html

What you do daily during Body For Life:

Wake up – drink 1 large glass of water.
Before going to work out – 1 Protein Shake and 1 Amino Active.

Post work out – 1 Amino Active.

Breakfast – Equal amounts of protein/carbs

Snack (like 10 am) – piece of fruit

Mid day – Shake

Lunch – Equal amounts protein/carbs/vege or salad (any size)

Later in the day – Snack – veggies or protein

Dinner – Equal amounts protein/carbs/vege or salad (any size)

Evening (IF you are hungry) ½ shake.

What you do:
work out at whatever level you are at for 30 min cardio and 30 min weight bearing exercise. IF you are using weights…. Reps are done starting with the max weight you are comfortable with (complete 10-20 reps) Then go down 5-10 lbs in increments and complete more reps, and repeat at 5-10 lbs less weight. (so it gets easier as you get more tired).

NOW along with this – which is shedding fat (which holds the toxins) and keeping the muscle (amino acids suppress the break down and protein helps build new muscle). *I still ate meat. I had no clue about GMO’s (not sure if that was in the food supply at the time or not), I didn’t do organic (though doing this now I would).
SUNDAY is the free day. do and eat whatever you please! keeps you from feeling like you are restricted.

SUGGESTIONS:

1. Start a RAW diet – go completely raw for 30 days (or more)

2. Do a full body cellular detoxification BePure is the best one I have found and I have tried a ton.

3.  Skin Brushing http://www.hcbl.com/blog/skin-brushing-to-detoxify-your-lymphatic-drainage-system/

4. Caster Oil Packs http://www.hcbl.com/blog/castor-oil-packs/

5. Drink as much water as you can. Aim for a gallon a day. *add a pinch of pink salt for minerals.

6. – Kidney/Gallbladder cleanse – http://www.hcbl.com/blog/gallstones-%E2%80%93-ridding-yourself-of-them-painlessly-without-surgery/

7. – Regular chiropractic care and massage

8. – Periodic water fasts 24-36 hrs.

9. –  I think this was the most important – I saw myself as healthy and well….
I originally published this as a book but it wasn’t getting out fast enough – have her read this 3 part blog CANCER – TAKING YOUR POWER BACK

10. – I also decided to have as much fun as possible and to no longer do anything that didn’t feel right or make me happy. This included relationships, friends, jobs everything. If I didn’t like it – I would quit! Or tell you to take a hike! I was no longer living my life trying to make someone else happy, because in the end you cant MAKE anyone anything – other than yourself of course… So I chose happy. The result of that is that happy IS healthy.
*If I were to do this today: I would also: use essential oils – They are anti tumorigenic by nature:

11. Sandalwood, Lavender, and  Frankincense Essential Oils actually can correct DNA mutations. Oils can be used topically, by inhallation, or internally (in water or capsule so long as the purity is good. I personally will only take Doterra and or Young Livings oils).

12. Do Oil pulling – daily when you wake up. http://www.hcbl.com/blog/oil-pulling-for-detoxification/

13. Supplement your diet as needed with vitamins. I get most of mine from Health Center for Better Living. HCBL.com
