Broken Neck, Back, and Fractured Skull… In surgery today to try and save her ability to walk.

Kiki has been through unimaginable hardship. After being homeless and living in human trafficking facilities while her case is investigated, she finally got her car back with the help of AD. That car was more than just transportation, it was her home and her lifeline to independence.

On her way home, Kiki knew she was about to have a seizure. She slowed down to pull off the road, but ended up going down a mile and a half embankment. The car went airborne, rolled twice, and landed upside down. Kiki remembers hanging upside-down, then falling and being trapped. The police told her she was lucky to be alive, and it was her seat belt that saved her. Now, she is in the ICU, unable to move, waiting for surgery on Monday that could determine whether she risks paralysis.

Kiki has nothing left. Her car was totaled, she has no money, and she was living in a shelter. The funds raised here will help her regain any kind of independence and recovery after surgery—covering medical bills, housing, transportation, and basic needs. What if it was you? Would you hope others would be compassionate, empathetic, and caring—and help you during the worst time of your life? Any help means the world right now.
