If you had told me six months ago that I would be writing songs, recording music and releasing it under my own artist’s name, I probably would have looked at you like you had three heads. Yet here we are. I have officially launched Wicked Divinity, and my music is now on SoundCloud and making its way onto other music platforms. You can listen at www.soundcloud.com/wickeddivinity.
The funny part is, I had never written a song in my life until a few months ago. Not one. Now they are pouring out of me so fast I can barely keep up with them. It actually reminds me a lot of what happened when I finally sat down to write Laughing Through Ascension. I had carried that book around inside me forever, and once I finally opened the floodgate, I wrote the entire thing in three days. Apparently my creativity likes to work this way. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Then suddenly, move, there is a freight train coming through.
Music has been exactly like that.
I have always sung, but there was also always something strange around my voice. A block I could feel without understanding. Part of it released back in 2014 when I had Rolfing done and the practitioner worked on my jaw. Something shifted immediately, but it never felt completely finished. More recently, I created a meditation and entrainment through Destiny Engine, and something opened all the way. My voice changed, and not just the sound of it. The power behind it changed too.
With that came a much deeper understanding of why my voice had always carried so much emotional charge for me. Over the last decade I have had many memories connected to Atlantis, including memories of being a high priestess and using my voice as part of that work. I also remembered being coerced into shutting it down, being told in one form or another to stop singing, stop speaking and stop becoming too powerful.
Whether someone else interprets that as past-life memory, subconscious symbolism, energetic memory or something else entirely honestly does not matter much to me. I know what I experienced, and suddenly a whole lot of things in this life made sense.
Even small things started clicking into place. Years ago, Ken would occasionally ask me not to sing in the car because he has tinnitus. Completely reasonable request. Yet it could make me disproportionately angry. Not irritated. Angry. Now I understand why. Something in me was not hearing, “My ears hurt.” Something in me was hearing, “Be quiet. Stop singing. Shut your voice down.” Apparently some part of me had already decided we were never doing that again.
So here we are.
Wicked Divinity is the result of all of that opening back up. The songs range from dark and sexy to funny, spiritual, raw, strange, ethereal and completely unapologetic. Some are about awakening. Some are about relationships. Some are about identity, power, memory and the layers of programming we pick up along the way. Some feel like songs. Others feel like something I already knew and finally remembered how to hear.
There is The Return of Lilith, Finally Waking Up, The 144,000, Liquid Dream, and now Soul Recognition, which may be the most beautiful thing I have created yet.
Soul Recognition came from that feeling of meeting someone and somehow knowing them before you actually know them. That instant internal recognition that makes absolutely no logical sense. The heart knows before the brain gets the memo. The entire song really comes down to one line: “It’s not a meeting. It’s just saying hi.” Yeah. That one got me too.

What started as me playing with music a few months ago has very clearly turned into something much bigger, and I am not fighting it. I spent enough of my life trying to figure out who I was supposed to be. At this point, when something comes through this clearly, I follow it.
So apparently I am now a singer-songwriter too.
Why the hell not?
You can listen to Wicked Divinity on SoundCloud at www.soundcloud.com/wickeddivinity. More music is coming, and judging by the way this is unfolding, probably a lot more!
I will never be silenced again.
I AM.
