This seems prevalent with younger people – younger millennials and Gen Z. I get that you guys are being inundated with what’s “right” and “wrong” and “offensive” and for that? Man, I am deeply sorry. Every single person has the right to think, feel, and say whatever they want. It is not, in turn your obligation or place to judge them and toss it back in their face to try and make them feel bad that they may or may not offend someone.
