Facebook has become the standard for social media. They still hold 70% of the market share over Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and others. You may have noticed in recent months and years that the censorship going on with Facebook has gotten really out of hand. Users are being tossed in what has been nicknamed Facebook Jail for the most minor infractions many of which don’t make any sense at all or even correlate to the post in question.
I am a repeat offender. I have been tossed in Facebook jail for apparently offensive humor on harmless memes. I have been cited for consoling a British friend jokingly saying “Don’t feel too bad. American’s are stupid too”, apparently that is hate speech despite the fact that I AM American…. and most recently I got a 30 day suspension for daring to tell people through a doctor client account that fresh air, sunshine, exercise, and vitamins were a better way to support your immune system than a potentially dangerous non approved “vaccine” (and I use that word very loosely).
That hit my breaking point.
They ban the rightful winner of the election and President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, and bolster and promote the scum who over threw our government. Mark Zuckerburg has been shown and proven to have donated money which helped sway and contaminate the election. That money was made from all of us using the Facebook platform. The only way Facebook is ever going to lose their reach and power is to take away their income stream.
It is time to leave Facebook.
Why is this tough to walk away and delete the app?
The answer is simple. You are an addict. Yes, I said it. You are an addict. Did you know that at Facebook they refer to us as Users.. and categorize us as heavy users or light users.
Despite the cancel culture, the censorship, them treating you like a bad 5 year old – sticking you in the corner with gum on your nose trying to shame you into believing the accepted bullshit narrative, you still want to go back. Trauma bonding is real as is Stockholm syndrome. Ask yourself, are you a captive by choice? if you find yourself logging in multiple times a day yet cursing Facebook…
That is an addict.
The only way to break this cycle is to walk away.
Come join me at Gab.com/sarahjulie. I walked away………………….. and I feel great.
